This was our first time camping at Acres of Wildlife, after hearing many positive recommendations from friends. We had a wonderful experience. We rented two tent sites to stay with my young granddaughters and my son and daughter-in-law. Our teenage nieces also accompanied us. There were so many things to do for all ages. My husband enjoyed hiking and walking around the campground and trails as well as fishing. My granddaughters enjoyed the games on the beach, swimming, fire truck rides and the many playgrounds. The teenagers loved the beach, tye dye, and karaoke. I loved seeing Mr. Drew, hanging out with family and the kindness and patience of all the staff, and the delicious pizza and ice cream. We also rented some kayaks and stand up paddle boards, which were very reasonably priced. My only suggestion for improvement might be to include a swimming area for dogs on Rainbow Lake. There is a small swimming area for dogs on Chub pond but it was quite murky and my dog would not go in unless I went with her. I had to pass. All in all it was a great vacation and we can’t wait to come back next year!

This campground Is very family and dog friendly. Some maintenance issues make it 4 stars for me. The store is well stocked and has fresh baked goods daily. Delivery is available and friendly from the Campground pub. There are lots of daily activities to join in and the staff a was friendly!

Brought our family to Acres of Wildlife since my significant other grew up coming here this was my first time. Apparently 10 years ago this campground was amazing, tons of activities for the kids, a lot going on. We won’t be coming back. Pay for a site with power & water chances are your power will only work when it wants to. There isn’t much for events for the kids and if they do have something it’ll probably get canceled. After your ride into the campground better schedule with your mechanic you’ll probably need your whole front end redone the road is a constant rumble strip. The pub/restaurant is closed more than it’s open. I’ve been to many other campgrounds that are way better and half the price. You can tell when a business puts some money back into the actual business and I’m not seeing that here. Save your money and book with a different campground.

My family adores this super friendly, family-run campground. Loads of activities for kids of all ages. When my kids were younger, they loved picking from the huge variety of scheduled activities (favorites were the build your own boat competitions, tie-dye t-shirts, fairy walks, and the kayak races) and now that they're getting older they love the fishing, boating and hiking options.

Pets are allowed and welcomed... even get a bone upon arrival
Check in time is 1:30 but if you're a little early you can check in if your site is ready.
At this time we have no seasonal sites available for this summer. Thank for thinking of us.
10 bucks for a day pass I believe.
Yes. Availability depends on the dates you would like a site for 👍🏻 Please call for the quickest availability 😄
We offer daily rates and weekly rates on all our rentals.
A variety 👍🏻 Please Go to our website and apply online www.acresofwildlife.com
Hi Lynn, our first weekend is May 3rd but it is all booked up at this time. We do have openings the following weekend “Mothers Day Weekend” 👍🏻
Lol not just yet 🤣 it’s the last two weekends of September. (Ps we can’t wait either 😉)
Please call the office to check? Last I knew we did not but some of our fellow campers did? They were posting them on Craigslist?
We do allow this during the Spring and Fall, but not during the Summer Months. Early check ins during the Spring and Fall are $10 at 10am. Hope this helped. (Thank you for all that helped with this question :D)
I believe it's $10 per person for visitors and visitors can stay till 9 p.m. if they want to stay overnight it is more money
Not sure about an extra tent, check out their website
Yes many people bring their own RV's and i suggest it because the mattresses in the rvs to rent are only 2 inches thick it is the worst and dogs are allowed to be at your camper
Apple, Blueberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, and more :D
