Great park in a superior location. Most spots well serviced and good-sized. Restroom/shower facilities are very clean and well maintained. On site staff are pleasant, efficient and very customer oriented.

Mack Pines

Beautiful park. Probably the BEST spot on the Columbia to watch ships and boats as the dredged shipping channel is really close to the shore. Every vessel imaginable from barges to giant auto and ocean bound cargo ships can be seen. There is also a big sandy beach that's perfect for sunbathing and swimming. On a clear day, you can see as far as Tongue Point in Astoria.

I love that park. All the people who work there are always so helpful and nice. It's a wonderful place to camp.

Beautiful campground. It was very well kept, right on the river, but not windy. Restrooms if you need it. Camp hosts are very much around, ensuring this place stays nice and respectful, but they do not bother you or make you feel your being watched. We loved this place and are telling everyone we know and will definitely be back.
