Campground made a minor mistake putting someone else on one of our sites but they resolved it perfectly. Actually kinda glad it happened! Staff was 100% professional. Dealt with our minor problem and everything we experienced was clean/organized and basically just done right. If Phish comes back to Bangor, we will come back to Paul Bunyan Campground.

Great place just out of the city for camping. Very polite staff and neighbors that are always willing to help out. My kids love the pool and playgrounds. Its located in a very convenient place where shopping and essentials are a mile up the road.

Great place to have a party specially with kids. Nice playground, heated pool, coverage area with picnic tables. Great people and very friendly. It's also very clean.

We came there for the night on Saturday from NB, Canada. We didn't have a US phone plan... there was never anyone in the office, glad I paid fully online first. We had to go to the nearest gas station to call the number on the office door in order to get firewood. Would be better if someone was around the office if anyone needed help Edited to respond to owner. We did use the wifi on site and at various locations around Bangor. So if our family needed us, we could get in touch. The 3 star review? That was for the lack of staff around, we even drove around to try to find someone. Also, the sites are too close together. The neighbors were horribly loud and talked loudly and banged stuff around all hrs. Wish the response was a bit better. Guess we pick another campground next time

Yes you can call anytime to make reservations for the camping season. The phone number is 207-941-1177
Never had an issue with sleeping everyone settles down by 10pm
We are about 4 miles to the waterfront
They are not open year round. This is a quote from their website: "Open May 1st through October 15th. Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. We have planned activities on most weekends throughout the summer." Hope that helps.
What are you talking about ? You must be the family that got kicked out yesterday. Good grief people . Tell the truth . We never kicked out 15 people . You were kicked out for being obnoxious , rude and not respecting other campers. We love people that tent camp. I prefer tent camping myself over a rv .
Yes they do
We are still closed til May 1st . Our power doesn’t go on til the middle of April. Sorry :(
I don't think it costs extra for kids but for 2 adults it was $26 a night, the pool and playground included they also do little hayrides on the weekends.
What type of site are you looking for ? Tent is $24 water and electric $36 and full hookup $40
They have list on websites for daily as well as weekly along with seasonal. Great owners. Very happy with them.
The paddle boat is 3$ a person I believe and idk about the honey wagon service
It depends on the dates you stay. The first weekend we stayed there, they were doing some pilot training and there were planes flying overhead all day and into the night. Normally there are only a few flying over during the day, but where its so close to the airport they are loud taking off.
Yes we are pet friendly. The pet just needs to be up to date on rabies . Desiree Is still upset because we had to kick her and her husband out last year for disturbing people and constantly fighting .
