Hertz Car Rental - Westchester County Airport (HPN)

Terrible. Do not book at this location. We wasted an hour of time, as the ONLY customer working with the two customer service reps. Recap: Worst experience and got completely ripped off. We booked weeks in advance and they did not have the Tesla we prepaid for. The first rep took 30 minutes talking to the field team checking to see if others were fully charged - finally gave a key and we headed to the lot. Car 1: <50% battery, I go back in as there are zero reps in the lot. Every other vendor has someone present. Long story short, we went through 2 additional changes due to Teslas with <50% charge and then the only car they had was a Ford Escape that drives poorly. No refund no I’m sorry - just terrible all around. Save yourself the headache and go with any other vendor.

The girl behind the counter was very nice. The car we asked for wasn't there. We had 2 car seats which took up a lot of space. So we were squooshed. The mini van was dirty. We know they can request cars for people and get them from other Hertz places (My son did that for 3 years, shuffling cars from place to place.)we use Hertz because we get car seats and a 2nd driver for free with AAA membership.

Bad attitude, arrogance and rudeness! If you are missing any or all of these in your life and like to experience it, please go to Hertz at this location. The lady at front will serve all three at once
