This looks like a working farm, so not quite as polished as some in the metro Chicago or Milwaukee areas may be accustomed to. I did see a few things of concern; some poly twine used to bail hay was left on the bail to feed the critters. A goat had ensnared it's horns and was essentially tethered to the bail until the majority of the bail was eaten. The twine was wrapped around one horn once and then twice around both. Goats can be resilient and I don't know that it would starve or become dehydrated before being noticed, but I'd worry about strangulation. A few horses looked matted and had some nodules on their legs. The shoes were not the best to an amateur's eyes. There were two Canada Geese that looked to have compromised wings. They were adults or close to it and the other wing of theirs was well-formed. I'm not sure if these are rescues or wild geese that sought refuge (and an easy meal,) but wanted to bring this up. Other than the above most animals seemed in good health. I did not spot sasquatch to confirm the well-being. A little more visibly present staff and clean up of some moldy bread (only accessible to the wandering Canada Geese as far as I could discern) would go a long way to giving visitors some peace of mind.

Super friendly staff and animals! The kids had a great time & they even gave us each a whole bag of bread to feed the animals while we walked through. By the time we got there it was raining and we didn’t see anyone, so we called and she had said they closed early due to rain but was there in less than 5 minutes to take care of us anyways, then at the end her husband brought out a baby bottle fed goat for the kids to see. Highly recommended to anyone trying to find something fun to do outdoors

Kids always have a lot of fun. Something fun to do that won't take all day like a regular zoo but it gets the family doing something together. We love seeing the baby animals!
