They've been cleaning at the place and it's a very nice RV park.

Sites are quite big. Plenty of room to set up temporary fencing for your pets or hang out under the awning. Pamela is who you communicate with prior to arrival. She is very helpful and informative. Check in process went fine except that it was a bit disorganized. Recommend you inquire as to your assigned site number (or options) prior to arrival in case no one is in the office. Pamela and her husband are new owners and it is evident that they have done a LOT of clean up there. The area is absolutely beautiful with so much area to hike where you are not likely to see another human. We were nestled nicely in the trees. While it is a bit cluttered at some of the sites due to long time residents having a large amount of stuff around their trailers (and some VERY old trailers), everyone is respectful of each other's space. Owners & Maintenance guy are super nice and helpful. Laundry Room was great with several washers & dryers, but bring your own laundry soap. There is no soap there to buy. Bathroom is a single stall with one shower but if your in an RV, that probably isn't an issue. If you need cell service, get one of those AT&T Go Phones (or whatever they are called these days). Only AT&T gets services up there. Lastly, I would say this is a 4 star RV Park. I gave it 5 stars because I feel that the 1 & 2 star reviews were unfair so I wanted my review to help get the overall stars back up where I think it belongs. There is still a lot of work to do there, but overall, it was a lovely area and experience.

Would give 5 but only thing missing is paved driveway and concrete slabs to park on. But the park is for long and short term very good managers great maintence man very helpful. Washer dryer and restrooms w/showers cost minimal. Enjoy the forest.

Manager Pamela very helpful. Beautiful setting camping and long term. Reasonable rates, full hook ups restrooms w/showers laundry room. Sites are gravel. 475$ a site with a couple premiums. 4 stars only because not concrete or paved streets. But still nice place. AT&T best phone service no wifi.

Right at the campsite there is running water. I don't know if the have tent sites at Quail Ridge, but lost creek recreation area right up the road has. Tent camping

Are there monthly sites available as well as temp?

I only stopped there to do a job, but it looked like there were several people who had been parked for quite a while. Seems the place offers all the RV accommodations necessary for a lengthy stay. That's probably not the answer you hoped for, but this popped up on my phone, so I thought I'd give it my best shot.

No, Yvonne, this "place" did not burn down. The fire has stayed to the west of us. We are in the evacuation zone, but we hope to be able to return by the end of the week 9/17. Thank you for your concern.

How is propane available? Approx price. Diesel? How far? Approx price? Medical Facilities or hospital? How far. What other restaurant or places of interest are in the area. Horseback riding? Gold mining?

Propane is available at the local store, which is about 1 mile from the park. Prices fluctuate, but are generally between $2 and $2.25 per gallon. Diesel is not available in the immediate area. The nearest stations with diesel are at least 20 miles away. Prices at the two casinos in Oroville are cheapest, and are generally between $3 and $4 per gallon, depending on time of year. etc. Oroville is about 40 miles from the park. There is a medical clinic in Brownsville for non-emergencies. It is open weekdays from 8 to 5. The nearest hospitals are in Oroville and Marysville/Yuba City. There are no real restaurants in the area, other than a small local diner and a burger shop in Brownsville. There are numerous spots for fishing, with 7 lakes within about an hour's drive (in the summer). A couple of them are not accessible in the winter. This RV park is quiet and rustic, located in the middle of Plumas National Forest.
