My wife is a travel RN and we chose this place, for the 13 week duration of her contract, based on the (mostly good) reviews. We were told that we had a spot with a concrete patio. However, on our way to the park we received a call telling us we'd been moved to another site. This site had a "plywood porch" with a walmart rv rug tacked down with roofing nails. The pad itself was flooded with ankle deep water. When my wife called the office and complained about the standing water, she was rewarded with a snide remark. The woman said, "well, this IS Louisiana you know?" We slogged through the water for a half hour and set up the camper. She was right, this is Louisiana and it rains. Especially on the coast. So slogging through water to get to the camper was a regular occurrence. Most of the time there was uneventful. The facilities were adequate. The playground sparse, with nowhere to sit. The laundry room was not well kept. And the grass was infrequently mowed. And when it was finally mowed, it was a disaster for all the campers. When we returned to the camper after being gone for a few days, it was splattered with mud and grass. Considering that the grass had been nearly knee high, it's unsurprising really. I called and spoke with the owner about it. He asked if "it was something that could be hosed off?" As I was about to answer he said, nevermind I'm headed out to look. That was the last I heard from him. The next time my wife spoke with him and mentioned the mud and grass, he said "oh, sorry, I washed the wrong camper." I suppose it was an easy mistake to make considering all the campers had received a mud bath. We packed it up and left. Good riddance.

Pull thru's are standard, approx. 60 to 70 feet long and we will try and place you on a paved site. Pine Crest is pet friendly, but we cannot allow aggressive breeds and we ask for consideration of our office staff that have pet allergies when utilizing a service dog. If you are a travel nurse, please let us know.

Not exactly permanent but we have many long term guest. Pine Crest proudly serves many guest that are members of the United States armed forces and their deployment sometimes will extend for a few years.
