I would never go back. The first thing they did when we walked in was to try to confiscate my wife's and daughters purse so they wouldn't steal anything. I told them no and locked them in the car. Nothing but low life druggies and Astral projection types that feel like rocks can heal your every problem.

Update: I haven't been here in years and based on some of the recent reviews I've seen by others, I more than likely won't return. I read they make you leave your purse at the counter with an employee if it's a certain size & that you still have to wear a mask when it's almost 2023. I've also seen some posts by those with disabilities who have been mistreated at this establishment. It seems a lot like a rules for thee but not for me type business. Just be sure to read more than one review before deciding if you want to spend your money here or not. Older Review: I always find a must have item in this gem of a shop. It has a unique flare and appeal to it. You definitely have to add them to your list of places to visit when in Austin.

I can't give you solid Intel on opening a store from am owners perspective, but I did watch someone open a metaphysical store recently in Austin and can give you info from a customer and supplier perspective. If interested, feel free to contact me.

Hi Emma, It depends on the crystal. We have 2 big buying trips each year, and restock periodically the rest of the time. We also keep a lot of back stock in inventory, and are constantly adding new items to our retail and online selections, as well as re-stocking favorites. This is an awesome grocery store! The cashier was super nice and the vegan matcha soft serve ice cream was so refreshing. Amazing selections and now my go to place whenever I'm in Austin.
Yes they do. It has been a crazy couple of years though, so it really is a first come first served type of situation as it may be a while before they can restock their product once it is gone. They also have The Rock Depot where there is usually smaller crystals to purchase by weight as well as bags of chip stones.
Masks required. Cap on # of in-store guests. Sign with store's C-19 rules on display before enteing. They sanitize hands upon entry and reiterate store rules. Masks are also offered inside (though this may change day to day as their supplies last, dunno). They sanitize counter areas as much as possible during business hours.
Yes, it is required to use hand sanitizer before entering and browsing the store. However, they provide it for you; so you don't have to worry about taking your own.

They go to the Tuscon and Denver Gem and Mineral shows to meet with their vendors and purchase for the store. The owner Karen purchases from ethical mining sources. They sell white sage, along with blue sage and palo santo and a variety of other herbs that they get from a company called The Fluorescent Ranch. The Fluorescent Ranch harvests all their products responsibly and is Native American owned.

Yikes, there are so many! Diamonds & Quartz from Arkansas, New York, Turquoise & Silver from the Southwest, Gold from the West Coast, North Dakota, Topaz from Texas, Desert Roses and Selenite from Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, Agatized Dino Bone from Utah, Chalcedony and Agate from all across the US, Red and Yellow Jaspers, salt, sulphur from Texas and Louisiana, too many fossils in too many places to list, petrified wood too...sapphires from Montana, opal from Colorado and Wyoming, the list goes on and on. And we carry a lot of it here in our store! Come by and explore, it's like a small natural history museum!

They have those little mats with the designs on them that come with stones for things like increasing creativity, helping with depression. They have pictures that come with the mats and stones that show you where to set the stones. I haven't dug into those much, but there might be one in there for balancing chakra. Other than that they have bracelets for balancing chakra and I know I have seen little bags of stones specifically for each point. Not sure if those come with instructions though. The staff is SUpER friendly though. It's worth a visit. Plus the store is HUGE. I go there often just to see their new items and relax in the atmosphere.
Hi Steven, Lynne's answer was correct. We do carry an assortment of different artifacts, but we only purchase from reputable dealers with full permits and accreditation.
