When I first started donating, csl was a great place to go. They were very understanding and considerate and I came for years. I'm not sure what changed(I believe it was a change in management) but the experience has completely gone downhill for me. And today I find that I've been permanently banned from donating here due to 'small veins' when before the shift I very rarely had an issue. I donated for literal years here and it's just been a slap in the face to be kicked out over something so silly. If you asked me a week ago where the best place to go to donate was, I would have told you that I swear by csl. But today I would recommend that you choose literally any other center. And I hate that I feel that way because I had formed a genuine bond with many of the employees who were very kind to me. It's sad how a simple change in management can destroy a great culture.

This place is a joke and it's only gotten worse. All the employees treat the job like social hour and nothing runs as it should. I've been waiting a month for "test results" to come in so I can donate but I'll never know when it is possible again since they leave their phone disconnected or just forward you without ever attempting to answer a question. It's quite literally nothing but incompetent young women who work in this place and use it as an excuse to goof off.

Sometimes you have to waiting for the line to the check point about one hour😒😒😒

I will no longer be returning to CSL Plasma. After years of donating, I was told after stepping out to Crack my back for about 15 seconds I'd no longer be allowed to donate. When I questioned this policy I was told that it didn't have to be disclosed nor prived to me for the safety of the employees. While I understand a policy like this may be in place in order to protect the staff; why is it being enforced if it doesn't have to be disclosed? I will not be returning, nor will my review be changed. The employee who told me this policy spent about 15 minutes stumbling through manuals and guides with two other employees and failed to procure any documents stating or proving this policy. The staff turnover rate is unbelievable and I think I may understand why now. With certain staff members picking a choosing what "official policies" to enforce its a wonder they still get donors here.

Yes it goes by weight. But new donor fees for the first 5 visits are 1st $75 2nd $50 3rd $50 4th $50 5th $75
There is one in Rock Hill.
they do
It is by weight. New donors get a lot at first though. Normally you only make 40 and 45 (for the smallest weight) the bigger weight is over 140lbs and you get $45 and $50 I believe. Download the csl app and use it. They give u points for each visit(and other stuff) and you can trade them in for extra money.
Actually.....no. Their closed today. Just like last Monday for Christmas. Trust me, i know...this is my regular donation day.
I think they're doing away with the perks. They used to give money for new referrals but now they give out points😔
Depends on how many donors are already there and your questionnaire. I had a couple questions that the nurse had to check on which added about 30 minutes to my first visit. In total I was there about 2 hours.
A year. 6 months for piercings.
No appointment necessary.. you go in at your convenience
No appointment neeeded
Yes, they do go by weight (judged by below 150/above 150, I believe), but the payout is only $5-$10 less than the higher weight class. First time donors start at $50 for their first donation, then payment alternates between $60 and $50 for the first 6 donations or so, then reverts to normal pay scale ($30 for first donation of the month, +$5 more each donation after that. $35 for 2nd, $40 for 3rd, etc). You'll have your protien/iron/hydration levels and weight checked, after that you'll be connected to the machine to start the donation process, which usually takes approximately 45 minutes, give or take, depending on how hydrated you are
I believe its $75 also
No because they are extracting your plasma out of your blood and giving your blood back so the blood type does not matter
Yes. As long as you're in CSL's system it shouldn't be a problem at all. I transferred from SC to NC and everything was fine. But just in case, I would bring an ID and something with your social security number like your social security card or a W2.
You need a social security card
First time donors usually get an extra bonus for like the first 4 or 5 donations on top of your regular pay. You can probably expect at least $50 maybe a little more on the first few (that includes the extra bonus.)
$25.00 first day $40.00 for second day of the week.
You will start over as a new donor.
You have to make your first 2 donations within two weeks of each other or they throw it away.
You can go twice a week runs Monday thru Sunday. Have to have one day between donations. If your days are Mon and Wed and you miss Mondays donation you won't be able to donate again until Friday if you still go on Wednesday. (You could go Tuesday but you would have to move Wednesday donation to a day Thurs thru Sunday.) If you went Monday and missed the Wednesday you could go again on Thursday.
They are closing at 2pm today because of the weather.
Depends on weight mostly its 25 first and 40 on second donation of the week
You have to live within a certain radius of the center that you're trying at so I would call first. New donors are accepted as long as the center is open every day of the week.
Yes
Yes
There are different promotions every month. If you are still in your first 5 donations, then you are not eligible for promotions.
I got an email yesterday stating they were closed until further notice due to the weather.
Open from 7am to 7pm Mon-Fri...7am to 5pm Sat & Sun.
They accept walk ins. Your first visit could take up to 3hrs
If it's your first time getting a replacement card, stop by the front desk BEFORE donating. If it is your second time you would have to call the bank your debit card is through.
Take your I. D and proof of residency
Has to be a year after.
60 last time I saw
Social id and a bill in your name
Centers may be closing by 12pm check with your local center...this may vary.
I think they do a special where its like 50$ for the first time and 40$ for the next 3 times. Then it goes down to like 30$ per time.
First time it takes a lot longer, you need a physical and all kinds of questionaires to be answered. Once thats done, you can usually get in and out in 1-2 hours.
