Horrible!

Why post the VEC being in Danville when there is no one there to talk to and the phone not working. The website for Danville should be taken down because it’s doing nothing but misleading people wanting to resolve unemployment issues

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. No help whatsoever......... The phones seem to never work and when you go there there's never anybody in person that can talk to you about anything. it's always an excuse

I have been trying for weeks to get my unemployment information from this place, have been leaving messages back to back, emails and still haven’t heard from anyone regarding my issues with my unemployment. I feel as if they could care less about anyone else problems or concerns!

I have been trying to get my UI since Jan Sent in all docs that they have requested numerous times. Then they declined me when they had my info So then I had to file an appeal and resend all my docs in again. I have heard there’s no time line on appeals and I have heard that there is a 2 week delay I haven’t gotten any money for 9 months now and have been looking for a job daily. This is crazy!!!!! I have even contacted the governors office and multiple local offices for help and I have 4 kids and have lost my job due to Covid a $75k per year job that has impacted my life and my families life tremendously. I have never had bad credit I do now because I am having to juggle bills My husband is working from morning until night to help make ends meet but we are still behind I have begged and pleaded called the 800# all day every day for 9 months and no answer. How can the state of VA allow this??? Who is running this agency???? Please someone help!
Go to the center in person and request the information. Technically your work history is protected information so they cannot email it to you just for asking via phone. If you have a resume or work history on your Workforce Connection site, you can login and see it wherever you are. They can give you information on resetting your account if needed but can no longer reset it for you.
