Sandhills Peds SP has been amazing for my family! We typically see Dr. Simpkin and she is amazing and listens to all concerns. We also see Dr. Jones and she is amazing as well. They both are willing to listen and hear what you have to say. Today we were seen by the after hours clinic. Our nurse, Taylor S. Was perfect! She was attentive and understanding. I give her 5 stars! I can not say the same for our experiences at the west end office location., but it may be different for different families.

4 stars for availability of times for sick visits. However, my kids have yet to see a doctor that isn't extremely rushed and actually cares. There is hardly a wait here to be seen but they clearly overbook and rush the patients in and out in a matter of minutes. They do not have a blood draw person available anymore and will refer your child to a specialist just to get you out the door. The facility has gone from bad to worse in a year and a half and I'm so done with the place. I wish there was another pediatrician option in the Southern Pines area because this one is severely lacking.

What an absolute joke of a doctor's office....you say that you walk in hours don't end until 1130 am on Saturday. So tell me why my wife come to the door at 1125 and the doors are locked and my sick child can't be seen? We will be switching doctors and never recommending this place to anyone..... absolutely a joke of a doctor's office.....

My family and I showed up for an appointment, for an annual check up, and we were turned away for not placing a mouth diaper on. There was absolutely no exception to their policy. We were not sick. This is discrimination and prejudice. I thought we were passed this in this country.
