Over the years, I've ridden thousands of miles on the Foundation and I still adore it. The trails are gorgeous for the area, they offer opportunities for every type of rider - places to gallop, fences to jump, water to cross - it's all there. The trails are expansive, so you never get bored. The footing is superb throughout, and they keep it well regulated to JUST equestrians; not many walkers, no cyclists, no ATVs, it's so relaxing! The "North Country" in particular holds a special place in my heart for its more secluded trails and abundant wildlife. If you are looking for a fabulous, safe, fun place to ride alone or in company, the Foundation is it. One of my biggest regrets when I moved away was leaving this place behind. It's a riding paradise.
