AVOID THIS URGENT CARE went there to have a rapid covid test, only stayed for 5 minutes or less, didn't see any doctor/provider.a month later got a bill from them charging me $50.00 copay. called their billing department, and one person said yes, even i didn't see a doctor, it was still an office visit, and $50.00 copay for that visit. then called the insurance company and i was told that this provider billed the service as a regular urgent care visit not a covid test service, they used a wrong billing code. so i called urgent care's billing department again, and told them to use the correct code to bill for the covid test but they gave me a run around and nothing was fixed, so at the end, i got charged $50.00 on my credit card. i will definitely not going to use any Northwell Health urgent care service anymore.

Tried charging me for a full doctors visit when I went for a Covid test. Stay away!

Rudest recepcionist ever. So impolite. I had an issue with my insurance and she wasn't helpful at all. Ended up leaving.

I rarely like to use urgent care but for Covid test , this place became my testing site. For the test doctor doesn’t need to see you or take your personal information, they charge from your insurance company. Tests are free but urgent care is not and if you have been checked by the doctor, depending on your copay, you’ll get the bill. On my last Covid test, I did not even get the chance to let them know that that I don’t need to be seen by the doctor, she just came and I received the bill. When I called the insurance, they explained that from January even the Covid test falls in urgent care category which Northwell urgent care desk person doesn’t tell you. Right outside their facility there is another testing site, so if you have heavy copayment, I would recommend to use another Covid test site.
