Chandler was very kind and very gentle with the stray dog I called about. He was also very informative and eased my worries tremendously.

The officers are helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to help inform people on how to best take care of pets. They helped me get my family dog neutered and his shots up to date through a free community shelter. My family and I can't thank them enough!

I would say yes
Beth yes you can take them to the shelter and you can also bring them to the Smyth County Animal Hospital on 11 south in Marion above the dollar general I'm sorry about the kittens and your situation I'll pray for you, the kittens and their mom Hope this helped
On Facebook look up smyth shelter friends
You call 911, they will tell you what to do from there.
For all dogs it's a $60 spay/neuter fee. The $60 you pay goes to the vet that you take it to, to get spayed or neutered. If you adopt a dog that has already been spayed or neutered prior to going into the shelter than you don't have to pay anything all you'd have to do is fill out an adoption form.
