Need to call it Indifferent, not Urgent Care. 2.5 hours in the waiting room, then a half hour in a closed exam room listening to whoever was at the nurses' station having what sounded like happy hour before being taken for the Xray, then another hour until a PA bothered to come back in. This PA, upon learning i was only there for an xray, told me what I "should have done" to get through faster, and he couldn't do anything about it because "the waiting room is full and I'm the only one here." First of all, that's not my fault, although I wondered when was going to get the "we are understaffed" excuse. Secondly, that the waiting room was full is false: there was one other couple besides me, and two families before me, and the older couple who left shortly after I arrived, angry that they had already been waiting for an hour in an otherewise empy waiting room. That should've been my clue to leave as well. A few other clients came and went -- one needed a drug test, and was done withing 30 minutes. The three ladies at the desk could not have been less helpful or more unpleasant. After 2 hours I approached the desk, and one stopped me to say, "you're next" but when I opened my mouth to ask another question, she picked up a phone that hadn't rung and looked away to answer the non-existent phone call. Eventually learned i had to stand because sitting was too painful, so i stood for over 4 hours on one foot. When I was finally called, i had to wait while she went behind the desk to chat with one of the secretaries, without so much as acknowleging me. In the end, the PA didn't go over the films with me-- I never saw the Xray and he didn't know what was wrong other than nothing was broken. He said he would burn a CD for me to take to my orthopedic surgeon but not send it or the report to my GP since he's not in their system, then said he would come back and Ace-wrap my knee, which he never did, then a nurse came to give me the CD and release papers. I'm sure my bill will be over $800 to add insult to injury. This was my second -- and last -- visit to this facility. In May i had to wait 3.5 hours to be seen for a rib injury, so shame on my for trying again. Never again.
