Most bypassed station in NYC. Don’t use this station. Walk up to Grand Central -it’s faster!

Get off, walk a few blocks westward and one block northbound to 34th st Herald Square where you can catch the B or D lines, uptown, to 59th or Columbus Circle.
This station is wheelchair accessible, according to website.
You get off, make your 3rd left, 4 times over, get back on, and go back to where you originally boarded. Then I believe you can say you made a day of your trip to serendipity.
This station is NEVER closed unless there is a hardcore emergency or terror attack, in which case it will reopen once the emergency or threat is considered over and it is consider safe, as per law enforcement officials.
