I rented unit B** a week before I needed to move my items in, and filled out all the paperwork necessary, including paying in advance for the unit. After calling numerous times to confirm there would be someone there to give me my gate code, I received no response. I then drove there to drop my stuff off, assuming that there would be someone there at 3pm on a Friday, or I would be able to use the kiosk. Not only was there nobody in the office, and nobody answering the phone, the kiosk didn't recognize any of my information and I was not able to access my unit. Having a car full of stuff, I had to rent a unit on the spot and pay another $150 for a different storage unit. I have sent in a complaint 12 days ago and got a response saying someone from management would reach out, however nobody has.

The prices just keep shooting up. My expectation is there gonna lose more customers from this.

The storage place was fine it's just that I now live on a fixed in one and could no longer afford the price.

I have some serious mixed feelings about this company. On one hand the facility my room was at was clean, well maintained and my storage room didn't have any leaks which is all good. Also from a convenience standpoint this place is really close to where I live and had late access hours, so for that I can't complain. Now on to the not so good stuff... 1) EXPENSIVE... VERY EXPENSIVE... The room I rented wasn't much larger than a bedroom closet and cost me almost 150 dollars a month. That's absurd for a non-climate controlled storage box. 2) GIVE ME A HUMAN... This company relies WAY too heavily on automation. Being an IT guy myself I'm all for automation since I install it every day of my life. The big difference is that MY stuff WORKS. The self-service kiosk on-site is absolutely useless. None of the functions the unit is supposed to do worked. 3) MORE MONEY! Fortunately, their central office staff, wherever they're based was very courteous and helped me establish my account from a distance. For their efforts, I was billed a 25 dollar "Administrative fee". I assume they were taking this screwball idea from New York State's greasy judicial system. I received a one-day temporary key code to access the facility, which was sufficient to get my stuff into the room and the padlock on it for the night. 4) YET ANOTHER EXPENSE... The next day I went back to the facility to set my permanent personal code. Noone was in the on-site office... again... so yet again I'm faced with the useless self-service kiosk. After about 20 minutes of yelling, screaming and damned near hitting it with a hammer someone finally met me at the office from inside the gated facility. He proceeded to set the code I wanted, but was sure to notify me that I also needed a renter's insurance policy. Since I didn't have one of those he informed me I would be billed an additional 13 dollars a month on top of the monthly rent. Since I wasn't notified of this requirement when I created my account I found it a bit absurd, especially since I had already paid for the room. Overall, for all of the issues and obnoxious expenses involved the facility was acceptable for what I needed it for. Would I go back there again? I guess so If no other options were available.

Not sure, if it's my Lock, I would cut it off myself with bolt cutters.
