The people here really are great. Their priorities maybe not. I come early and often 530 AM these people NEVER and I mean Never ready at 530. Today they are talking about who is pregnant. I come early do I csn be done early but can't happen if you are never ready On time

This place has gone downhill since new management took over (not sure when this happened). I've donated here for over three years and some of the employees are wonderful. However, their turn-over rate is abhorrent and as a result, it is impossible to get a phlebotomist who knows my vein and can stick me without infiltration consistently. I've talked to the employees here and several have told me that this business has stopped treating them like family and started treating them as numbers on a time-sheet. It may be better than some of the other plasma donation centers around town, but that is a strikingly low bar to surpass. A donation center is nothing without helpful and happy employees, and this center has failed to keep both.

Grifols truly is a horrible company, over the years of donating the terrible experiences have far outnumbered the good. There have been so many times that I have been deferred because of an error or “miscommunication” on their part. Once I had to redo my entire 2 hr physical because they simply didn’t log the one I did the donation prior. It is such a poorly run place and always has been. All this being said I will be back because unfortunately I need the money. If you are planning on coming, expect the needle stick to be the least painful part of the process.

I was super hesitant to come here because I get dizzy easily with this type of stuff and I had read some of the bad reviews, so if you’ve also read them, don’t trust them! I had a great experience for my first time donating! Everything was explained super well and everyone was very patient. Rachel was great throughout the steps leading up to donation and Kat was amazing during the donation process. She listened when I was feeling dizzy and responded quickly to help me feel better. I will definitely feel less anxious next time because I know everyone is so helpful and understanding now.

Wow i wouldnt say that is right. Contact the manager or even corporate just to see what they say. A hand has nothing to do with it. Well an less thats your donating arm and you cant flex the hand or something. Idk but i would call just to see what they say
Yes about 3 days in advance because this center doesnt know how to limit the number of donors they take.

Yes, all you need is proof of address within 30 days mail, i.d. & social security card.
If you walk in, they'll happily give you that info. It's usually not too busy, so you can walk in, then make an appointment that starts in 2 minutes. Expect your first visit to take an hour or two due to paperwork, safety videos and blood tests.
Depends on if you new or not cause the newer donors get top pay $50-$70 for the first few times you go as of the return donors get the low end $20-$40 and that every return donor price
If you stop going between your first donation through your fourth donation they will destroy it
Once you start at one center, you can't go to another without transferring your information & that can be a long process.
There are many treatments and medications that will unfortunately defer a person from donating. The reason for this is to protect the patients who will eventually receive the medication made from the plasma. In order to see what can qualify or disqualify a donor however, you will have to talk to the medical staff at the center who will have that information handy!
