I came to this church out of curiosity, looking to learn about what they teach here. I was full of nerves the first time I came, unsure of what to expect. But I quickly felt a warm, welcoming vibe when I first came in, the music and teachings are uplifting and comforting. I love the strong worship, the way people treat each other here. I'm grateful I have found a place to worship where I can feel free, no pressure, not judged and accepted as I am. I have been attending for about 3 months now and I learn something new each time. I have never felt closer to God, more loved and connected to the members than in any other house of worship. My kids have a blast too! They loved it from the very first day! We will be coming from now on.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and love it. Great people and staff. Best way to meet others is to get involved in small groups. I love my church!

Is it possible to give 10 stars? I can't say enough good about the place. I came here, for the first time, at the invite of a friend, and I've been every Sunday since. I felt welcome and warm the moment I walked in the door. Every Sunday, the sermon just hits home. It seems that it was tailored just for me and what I need. Religion or not, the message is real world and helps me be a better person. The energy here during worship is incredible. I love the pastors. And Pastor Scott is an amazing man. I am incredibly grateful for this church.

Wonderful church for the whole family. Really helped our family of 7 transition from the Mormon church in an easy and graceful manner. Our 5 kids love the children's program, they look forward to it! Dress how you feel, you most likely will not see any ties or white dress shirts. There is no anti-mormon message from the pulpit (Mormonism is never even mentioned), which makes it comfortable and easy to have family members visit. Everyone is welcome and Jesus is the center point of the church, and that is who you will learn about. The music is amazing and professional, I have never liked "church music" , but this is really great!

Questions & Answers

Is it formal dress?

Skyley Loughton | Apr 29, 2019
Mike N | Apr 30, 2019

It is not. You can dress however you see fit and you won't be alone in your choice. There are many that might wear dresses / slacks, others in jeans and a tee, some in shorts and sandals. I promise, you'll feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear.

Why is your music so loud, and why don't you sing more old time gospel music

alex clegg | Apr 29, 2019
Mike N | Apr 30, 2019

I haven't felt the music was too loud. It seems appropriate to me. I'm guessing that we each have different tastes though. I have felt the music is fully heart felt, uplifting and everything it should be. While they play many contemporary Christian songs, Recently I've heard some of the old time songs such as Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art. And I was so impressed. Especially with the lady who sang lead in Amazing Grace. One's taste and tradition are probably the biggest factor in liking the music or not. But it's still spiritual, uplifting words and sang for all the right reasons.

We also offer a service on Monday nights at 6:45; this service is geared for our young professionals and college-age students, but everyone is welcome.

Does baptism happen here?

Siriah | Apr 29, 2019
Mike N | Apr 30, 2019

If you attend the Starting Point class (just a one hour introduction to the philosophies and structure of the church) they talk more about baptism. They said that it is something they do, but don't require. They do it in the river, so it's during the warm months of the year. They also do it at the church when it is cold out. Contact the pastor and he can tell you all you need to know about it.
