Visited 8/15 @ 2:30pm- decent selection of plants but customer service is terrible. The worst I’ve ever encountered. We came based on the other high reviews but we were quickly disappointed. The two ladies working today (one named Susan) acted like us even being in the shop was a burden to them. We were not even acknowledged when we walked in, never asked if we needed help, and when we went to the counter to purchase our $110 of plants, they looked at us with blank, annoyed looks. If you want an amazing selection of plants, friendly service where the associates pay more attention to customers over laughing at TikTok/IG vids on their phone- I suggest visiting The Ground Coffee, Plants & Gifts or STUMP in NoLibs. The only reason we came here is because these locations were closed today (Monday). —— Also, if the sticker price on the plant doesn’t include the planter- please at least mention this. It’s not all about the cost but it was another annoyance brought on by bad service.

During peak hours it's rough going finding parking near this darling plant shop. Helpful and patient staff will answer all your plant questions. There is a good variety of house plants and pots. I can't vouch for soils, fertilizer and amendments. Sale items are featured up front or on the sidewalk, weather permitting. The interior is dominated by a huge variegated monstera. Prices start at $1 on sale items!

City Planter is a fabulous plant shop. They carry a nice variety of plants, both common and not so common. The shop is well maintained and decorative. The customer service was good. The woman was definitely helpful. It’s pricier than most other places I’ve been. It is one of the best places to buy plants in Philly. I will be going back.

Overall great little shop with a variety of rare plants. A little pricey for basic plants like pothos but still worth it for the quality.

You can definitely buy many succulents. I think that would depend on your definition of bulk. Probably not hundreds, but I would call and ask, that's an unorthodox request and might not be advertised even if they did it.
Very good, right now they are only doing curbside pickup i believe
They usually do but looks like they are currently sold out. Check their website city planter.com or check out Stump or Cultivated Bohemian.
Yes
They don't sell tomato plants.
Im pretty sure they do larger scale installs of this kind. You should give them a call and deacribe what youre trying to do. The ladies there are super helpful :)
They have a really cool wall planter unit. That would look awesome. I don't think it's a lot and you can move it from outside to in and vice versa...
