Bad Customer Service & Extremely Bad Experience. 😡😡😡 Do not use this moving company. I gave them a half deposit. Then they took the balance two days before I was scheduled to move on October 1, 2022 at 8am. I received a text message from the lead on October 1, 2022 who said we have to push my moving service back to 9:30am. I was fine with that, however 9:30am came and these movers never showed up. 😡😡😡😡 I called the lead and he said Bellhop has reschedule my moving service. Bellhop did not call me or communicate any issues with helping me move. What Bellhop and some other moving companies do is they hire other people to do the moving. I felt like I got robbed and they took my money and never showed up to do the moving service. 😡 I had to get last notice help from family and rent a Uhaul truck. 😡 This company is not dependable and you will be stuck, if your depending on someone reliable to help you or your family move. I highly recommend that you never use this moving company and find someone else who is more reliable.

We have used this company before and had an okay experience. Unfortunately this time has been a disaster. 1st on the day of the move, we were notified by text that our movers were running an hour late. We were frustrated by that because it was setting us back in our plans. Then we ended up getting a text saying that we would have to reschedule.. we could not believe it. We called and were told that our Moving Coordinator would reach out to us to help us reschedule. This person Joshua emailed us with a next day appointment so we said we would accept that. I called to confirm and they said yes you are confirmed for your next day appointment. So I kept asking questions about the appointment and if this kind of thing happens normally. Right before I hung up I ask the lady on the line to confirm with me one last time that we we would have movers the next morning. She then said yes you are confirmed but there are no movers assigned to your confirmation. WHAT NO MOVERS..?! So then I immediately asked to speak with a manager or moving coordinator because I don’t understand how you can send a confirmation but it’s not actually a guarantee that you will have movers. I was given the run around for over and hour. I finally talk to a Senior associate and she said a manager from their “amazing” fulfillment team would be contacting me in the morning to assist us. She tried to offer a discount but at the end of the day we just needed movers. Fast forward to the next morning, we received a call saying that we were given a no guarantee appointment and that we wouldn’t be able to get movers until a week later…. Now we all know if you reserve movers you usually wouldn’t be able to just wait an extra week. And finding last minute movers same day from another company just doesn’t happen. So now we are literally in a terrible situation due to this company being extremely unprofessional and unreliable. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND BECAUSE THEY WILL MOST LIKELY CANCEL ON YOUR RESERVATION SAME DAY!

Great group of guys that really worked hard all day long. One of the movers ,Patrick Reynolds, went over an beyond the whole day. He made you feel like he was moving his belongings, and was such a kind and caring dude.

The moving-industry standard for minimum notice is five days, but if we have availability, Bellhops can schedule moves with as little as one day's notice. If you need to move today or tomorrow, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your last-minute needs.
Hi Andrea, great question! Bellhop is a pay-as-you-go service who operates with estimates, rather than quotes. We have a 2 hour minimum cost on any moves with two+ locations, and just a 1-hour minimum cost on moves with one location. Anytime used after the minimum time has passed, is pro-rated based upon the hourly rate so that you only pay for the exact time spent working--down to the minute.
I'm sorry you had that experience with them. I'm not sure why they don't have a plan for that.

Simply enter your address and inventory into our system, and we will recommend the package we believe will work best for you. However, if you feel that our recommendations don't meet your needs, you can customize your package however you feel fit. You can increase or decrease the number of movers, trucks and drivers, and labor hours you reserve. Please note that reducing the number of movers can prolong the move and increase its cost, so make sure to book what you need. This package is billed using our prorated pricing model, so should your move run longer than the minimum two hours, you'll be billed, in prorated increments, only for the time you use.
Bellhops can move most standard appliances but cannot install or uninstall them.
