Well, I don't usually do reviews but I feel this is extremely necessary if you plan on working with this agency. I started with this agency about 2 months to look for a family to nanny for. After about a few weeks I was given the opportunity to work with a family. Although i’ve worked with several families before, I’ve never experienced something like this. The first week of working with them, the mother wanted me to pay for the kids door dash meals and also never gave me enough money when going shopping or activities with the kids, after receiving my pay for the week I was shorted quite a bit, at that point I called the owner of this agency, EMILY MILLER. She quickly rushed off the phone with me and told me she would give me a call back as she was busy during hours of operation, I then received a text from the family which let me know Emily had gotten off the phone without hearing my concerns (at first) and spoke to them. She did call me back later and we discussed my concerns, she also confirmed to me that I was shorted even after taxes. She told me that I need to take this up with the family, which I did. The next day I got a text from the family stating they wanted me to come in later, when I arrived they explained to me that working with them may not be the best option. (Clearly!) The reasoning for this conversation was because I asked to see the percentage of everything that was taken out for taxes because this was definitely a discrepancy in the pay and I also didn’t feel it was my responsibility to pay for their kids meals and activities if it wasn’t enough money left behind, when in my contract it stated I would be receiving a card for expenses. I also need to mention this family also has my social security number, ID, and other confidential information which I expressed my concerned for as well! I called Emily and also emailed her to let her know i’d like to find another family to work with and have yet to hear anything back. It’s pretty obvious she favored their side and does not care for the nannie’s. I really suggest working for another agency or yourself. This has caused a lot on me financially and emotionally. Never again!
