Middle school and high school cross country event . One restroom for thousands of runners and parents. Absolutely unacceptable.

I love this park. Have been going for a year and a half. It's really well kept, clean, lots of people around, many different trails to use. Lots of animal sightings as well -- I regularly see deer, rabbits, Herron, turtles, ducks, geese, etc...

Great park! Went there for a boxer meetup

Yes. It is most definitely still a mud pit. Remains muddy at least a week after the last time it's rained. Always come home with a muddy dog which is why I won't be going here anymore.
Franklisk they added them but catching them is very tough Dec 11- 19
This park doesn't have tennis courts anymore. This is a cross country runners course more so now.
If you can go
I was testing some home made catfish bait a few days ago.. bank was lined with people fishing.. packed it in early, but I saw a guy catch a couple of keepers.
No. You are not allowed to ride any gas powered motorized vehicle in any Mecklenburg county park
There is a fenced in dog park that your dog doesn't need to be leashed in. By law your dog must be leashed everywhere else.
Not sure about that. You can always call park info.
Nah let them be. It's probably the only time people get to socialize in a safe environment. I think everyone there is responsible enough .
Adults are certainly allowed to permanently maim themselves unhelmeted! Children must wear helmets.
Just heard of catfish, not bass
Monroe has the best entrance...
Can probably get permission from the parks and rec Dept I'm sure
Never any luck with largemouths...too many big mouths on the bank!
You can fish there but I'm not sure about the algae.
Can't drive there, can wheel the chair to it only
There's a large pond but no , no swimming allowed. The dog park next to it doesn't have any swimming. Only bathing/water stations
No this park caters to outdoor nature activities.
Free as far as I know.
No they do not.
They stocked trout one time last year.. they were jumping out of the water that day. I was catfishing, someone told me about it. Tough to fly fish from bank with people walking by. They encouraged people to keep all they caught since they wouldn't live through winter. Found info online.. Google stock trout Mcalpine.
Mix of all. True XC track. Start from grass then thru woods and a hill and then around the lake. None if it is paved.
Yes
Cannot answer new to the area
If you work the pass along the right side of the parking lot, it will cross the creek. You can't get to it there, but if you walk along the creek to your right, there are places you can access it. I've never heard anyone say this wasn't allowed. Here and there you will see pads that others have taken to the creek. You can similarly access it when going in the other direction, the creek on your left. Mostly it's not that accessible, but it's never far from the path, and there are these little animal tracks down to the water.
Not yet, but they are currently building one. You might try Davie park
Technically dusk for the gate at the main entrance. There are multiple ways to get in by foot
