I really enjoy this church. Even if you're not Catholic, it's worth dropping by to see. The architecture and the landscape are superb. It's laid out like an Alta California mission with wandering pathways and perfectly chosen horticulture. I've attended services here and other events such as fish fry's on Friday's during Lent and every time it's been a thoroughly enjoyable time. The inside of the church is open, and full of light and has great views of the landscape. It's simple yet awesome at the same time. There are very old, quite large, mission bells that are rung for services. There are fountains both outside and inside the church. There's also a fun and affordable gift shop. The staff in the shop are very polite and friendly. The clergy are welcoming and genuinely nice. St. Gabriel's did a top notch job making this church the great place it is today, and I recommend seeing it.

I was ask to marry a couple from the San Diego area. St. Gabriel is a beautiful church. The marriage coordinator is very nice and thoughtful to the needs of the couple on their special day.

so peaceful--perfect place to have silence with God.This beautiful Spanish inspired Catholic church is a good place to marry privately at the Blessed sacrament if you don't have enough budget. I had the most memorable wedding ever-no need to spend so much-what is important is you marry in the eyes of God and close family.
