For the most part the service is good. They have a few drivers that have attitudes, but that's every where you go nowadays pretty much.

You can take one of the 8 buses back to the Transfer Center and then take 10 or either the 1A or 1B to hospital. The 10 and 1B would be the quickest ones.
GLTC has a paratransit bus. You could call them and get more details.
Not online but you can purchase a pass at the transfer station. You can then present the pass to the person and they will have activate it on the bus when they choose to ride. They accept debit cards at the transfer station. If you bring cash, bring exact. They don't have change. Day pass $4.00 14-day pass $25 31 day pass $50 $40 debit $40 (think of it as a gift card that can be used to purchase day passes or one-ways at the persons digression until The $40 is used) Hope this helps.
