Nice little park. Was a quiet serene spot until, like everything else-GREEDY. Unique little village which was brought in from other places. But within a half an hour you have seen it all-twice. No place to swim,although you can get your toes wet. They do a nice job of keeping it clean. But im not trying to buy it. I glady would give a donation, but for roads to be blocked, and having to go through a shakedown to sit outside. Not worth the gas to get there. I can sit in my nice back yard without being insulted. God bless them, im not mad at them. But generousity only goes so far.

Park is closed due to flooding
No pets, take the dogs to buck shoals or mossy creek instead! Similar places to cool off 😉

That would mean closing down the entire park. Unless you wanted a steady stream of traffic just yards from it, the only other usable entrance. There is a detour at the entrance closest to Jefferson.
There is a swimming hole area across the bridge. It's not very big or deep. Maybe 3-4 feet deep but I'm not sure, the kids got in but I didn't.
They have grills. Good place to take family. Been going there for 40 years
