This is the kindest, friendliest airport I've ever been to! This is a very historical airport and it's been here since 1929. It trained over 300 Canadian and American pilots in WWII. THEY TRAINED IN AN OLD PT-17 STEARMAN. THERE ARE THE ORIGINAL 1940S GRAY HANGARS STILL IN USE. BE SURE TO COME OUT FOR THE VINTAGE PLANE FLYOVER HERE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, 2021!!! NO GUARANTEES OF HOW MANY PLANES WILL SHOW UP BUT COME ON OUT WEATHER PERMITTING! SEE GUY FOR A WONDERFUL TOUR! THE NEW NAME IS THE KERSHAW COUNTY AIRPORT!!!!!!
