Scott gave me a very fair estimate and his crew was able (despite rain) to complete our roof (on a 3300 sq ft home) in 3 days. The crew did a great job of cleaning up. The estimate included a high quality architectural shingle, but when we learned our color was on back order, Scott offered to get a similar color but on the next higher quality shingle, at the same price as the original estimate. Very happy with the work.

We had Stormguard Roofing replace a large, old roof. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and checked in on the work often. His workers were very fast, professional and did a great clean up job. We will use this company again when needed and would highly recommended them!

We recently had our roof replaced by Scott and team at StormGuard. To say that I am pleased with everything would be an understatement. Scott was as professional and punctual as any person or company I have ever dealt with. From the initial roof evaluation, to cleanup at the end, I could not have hoped for a better experience.

We had wind and hail damage from a storm a few months ago. Storm Guard was recommended by a friend. After three estimates, Storm Guard had the best price. They did an excellent job on our roof! They were quick but thorough, and Scott sent pictures to me throughout the day, letting me know how things were going. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with this roof!

Many homeowner insurance policies cover roof leaks as long as the cause is something that is specified in the plan. These usually include events such as storms, vandalism, excess weight, fire, and other situations. Insurance policies are less likely to cover leaks when they are caused by lack of maintenance or wear and tear.
A roof inspection helps you catch small problems before they become big. By the time you can see leaks on your ceiling, chances are you already have a large amount of damage.
Most homeowners insurance policies will cover roof repairs if the damage was the result of something unpreventable such as storms, burglary, or an accident. Your insurance may also cover some repairs that are the result of general wear and tear, but these are less likely to be fully covered.
Most policies offer two types of coverage: roof repair and roof replacement. Roof replacement is usually covered if it is caused by something that could not have been prevented like weather or accidents.
