Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel is a family favorite of ours! It’s a place that all 5 of us find something we like whether it’s breakfast or dinner food. We usually go here on Sundays after church and wait maybe 15 minutes at the most. The food normally comes quickly. There seems to be a large turn over with waiters. Every time we go the waiter says they’re new. We’ve had a few problems with not getting what we ordered but they’re always quick to fix it and everything is fine.

We had a large group and our server did a really good job, but it took over an hour to get our food. The food was hot and very good. The store front staff were friendly and professional. The people turned a three star rating to a four star.

Servers were nice and professional. Kitchen took WAY to long. People were seated after me, were served, ate, paid for meal and left before my plate came out. Manager did rectify without me asking. So kudos to manager and servers.

Normally I love Cracker Barrel but this particular one failed to preform up to their standards. The wait once seated to have a server stop by was long, then it was abnormally long to get food (no it wasn’t overly busy). Once the food was received only 2 of 5 meals were good. Got chicken tenders that were dry and chewy, mushy carrots, over cooked sausage, and over cooked hamburgers. I was disappointed. Thanks goodness for the biscuits or some of us would be leaving hungry! I will go to Cracker Barrel again but probably not this one.
