There’s not too many night events you can do in Charleston- so Theatre 99 offers Improv nights and it was super fun and extremely funny to get to watch comedies act on the spot. Really a fun activity if you’re in the area!!

so funny!

Always reliable for a good time! The improv comedy is hilarious and the comedians are super-duper, I dare say! Fyi: small theater w cash bar for wine or beer. Reserve your tickets early and arrive reasonably early since it's general admission.

Absolutely hilarious, had a great time!

Yes, this group is not shocking or obscene in any way. Most pre teens would struggle with their intelligent humor, but on the other hand bright kids will be thrilled to see other smart people getting all the positive attention. One comparison. If you let your kids watch The Simpsons, you'll all feel right at home in Theatre 99
Typically an hour for the main act but once back open fully an additional hour for additional acts
There is R rated language in the shows since it is mostly improv. They do have PG shows throughout the year that are kid friendly. Check their website for those shows.
the cast very accessible before and after shows, attend a show and see if you like it then ask one of them!
The grocery store has food. So do restaurants. They have comedy here. And drink, but mostly comedy.
Online is best(guarantees you that spot) but can buy at door of that night, but not before!
