My sweet young husband was dying in the hospital and I was talked into signing up for in Hospital hospice. They did absolutely nothing for our family and it just makes me sad that they will get insurance money for doing nothing. No support to us whatsoever. We had to do all the planning and our wonderful kids had to do all of the discharge and paperwork and burial stuff and everything else and I just feel like it was a total scam.

All of the counselors at The Elizabeth Hospice are understanding, compassionate and patient. They recognize that everyone grieves at their own pace. Complicated grief sometimes requires intensive care. Little by little, I am becoming unstuck. Along with the love and support of my family and friends, I credit my counselor and The Elizabeth Hospice with saving my life.

My family did not have the best experience with them when my father was ill and passing. We would have to constantly call and ask for someone to please come out and help to clean him up. He would go a week without anyone showing up. And, if you called it was as if you were a burden to them. The day of my fathers passing it took the nurse 7 hours to come out and get him ready for the coroner (which we could not call until she arrived). Once she was there again very cold and treated his body very poorly as far as I was concerned. Please do your loved ones a favor and find a different Hospice. I wish he would have let us do some research first because I would have gone with someone else.

Five Stars is not enough. This team of care givers, health workers, and counselors and ministers made my mom's last few months as comfortable as is humanly possible. Each new face treated my mom and her family as though she was a part of their family too. In the end they kept her comfortable and pain free and beautifully assisted her and her family in transitioning through the end of her life. The medical staff are highly skilled and caring, the care givers work as though they were assisting their own family, and the counselor helped me to navigate through all of the paperwork and always with an eye to my needs as well. The spiritual counselors were never pushy or assuming. Everyone at Elizabeth Hospice simply provided us the very best possible care and comfort and we are grateful to them all. Highly recommended!
