In the past I frequented this spot. I was looking to rent space for a upcoming photo shoot. There currently is construction and some of the features are not available outside of the long term residence artists.

Absolutely love this place! So sad it is being torn down.

The Goat Farm seems to struggle with purpose and identity, calling itself a "unique, hip, center for artists," seems a bit off, suggesting a destination for tourists and weekend seekers of something that simply just doesn't exist. Basically, those is a dilapidated factory repurposed for art and photo studio rentals, that is occasionally open to the public. The goats are gone (I think), and impromptu photography on the grounds is largely discouraged, and frankly—let's face it—overused and not very interesting anymore. I believe their revenue source now centers around film production and related businesses. Nothing wrong with that, though the owners might consider installing some wayfinding signage to help establish purpose and reduce confusion and disappoinment by visitors not sure about what to expect.

Not a friendly place. Photographers are no longer permitted because they cause a disturbance, but Hollywood production crews (with their trailers) get the red carpet.
Photography is reserved for pass wearing studio tenants. However, guests may take snap shots with a camera phone.
Photography isn't allowed on the property. You cannot enter their enclosure.
No.. Not without permission
