The check-in process is flawed. I completed the online check-in and registration prior to arriving. After completing more paperwork in the waiting room, the Next In Line list on the waiting room monitor had me listed as next. After 2 other patients were called before me I asked the check-in desk about my place in line. I was told "Oh, that screen isn't accurate. We go by order of check-in and 2 other people checked in ahead of you.". So what's the purpose of registering prior to arrival to supposedly reduce your wait time? I won't be returning to Doctors Care for anything. ***After FIVE people were going to be called ahead of me I showed the front desk where the website said I was already checked in and they term the system "Wait Where You Want" on their website. I was told the online system was wrong as well as the waiting list on the monitor in the waiting room. It was explained that no matter what the online system said, it was wrong and no one was checked in unless they physically walked in and signed in. We are supposed to trust these offices with our health and safety and they can't even get their own check-in process right? This is completely ridiculous. On a side note the ladies working here were very friendly and understanding of my frustration. That doesn't get back my time wasted when I followed their process yet still had to wait.

The front desk ladies are extremely rude. We are the sick ones, they are providing a service specific to people, you’d expect caring and understanding. Aren’t y’all called DOCTORS CARE?! The early check-in process doesn’t save you any time. Still have to wait and do paperwork when you come in. They also hit me with a bill of $128 when I arrived, I had a past due balance that I’ve never received notice on and told me my co-pay was $88. ALSO TELL PEOPLE BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT IF MONEY IS DUE. DON’T ALLOW PEOPLE TO WASTE TIME IF YOU’RE GOING TO DENY TREATMENT. Ironically, the first sheet of paperwork asks your financial status and I checked off “not good due to financial circumstances.” I called insurance and my deductible was met (told otherwise by rude front desk lady.) I watched people who came after me get taken back sooner. No one else was handed a bill other than a young man my age. Basically what I’m saying is, they’re gonna hand you a bill based on what you look like. The nurse Faith who took me back was the first kind person I encountered and she seemed like she actually cared. I was seen by Dr. Anderson, nice guy but I didn’t feel heard by the doctor. Really unfortunate after spending that kind of money. 0 out of 5 stars.
