MA at AFC falsified vitals, maybe even my test results and assaulted my daughter. I'm a 76 y/o. After receiving the flu shot on 10/5/2022 I developed flu/Covid symptoms: chills during the day, body aches, night sweats severe enough to drench my pj's, I woke up on 10/8/22 with abdominal cramping, diarrhea and a cough. I went to AFC Urgent Care at 1494 W. Wade Hamptom Blvd., Greer SC 29650 on 10/8/22 to be seen/tested. A tall white RUDE Medical Assistant (MA) called my name, took only my temp, and history/reason for visit. She was impatient and rude to me during our exchange. I do have an accent but am fluent in English. I asked to be tested for Covid19, and explained that if I was positive i also needed a doctor's note for work. She told me my symptoms were from the flu vaccine (I guess MA now can diagnose people). She told me they don't write notes so I can miss work and walked me back out to the waiting area and said I was done. My daughter - who drove me to AFC - approached the front desk and told them she wanted me tested (Which was the reason why I had asked my daughter to take me there in the first place). This same rude MA came back out asked: who needed her help, and with a hand gesture and attitude opened the door and guided my daughter into the small room where my short medical eval had taken place previously. My daughter looked at her in disbelieve for the way MA was treating my daughter from the very start. The MA immediately yelled at my daughter "Don't you look at me like that!". My daughter - who is a nurse - explained to the MA I wanted to get tested for my symptoms (repeating them to her) and because of my age that puts me at high risk. MA told my daughter I never told her any of that (what???!!!) my daughter told her she doubted it because that's the reason we came in. MA continued to yell at my daughter "it's not what you want it's what the patient wants" waving her finger in my daughter's face. My daughter raced her voice and told her to get her finger out of her face, and MA lost it: MA immediately started yelling "Get out!, continuing to shake her finger in my daughter's face telling her not to talk to her like that. My daughter explained to her "you asked me to come in, you don't need to kick me out, all you have to do is ask me to leave". MA kept yelling at my daughter "get out! - get out! - get out! It's in this moment she closed the door on my daughter's face literaly!. My daughter stepped back as quick as she could, and the door still hit her foot/toe. My daughter then went around and asked the front desk for the name of that MA. This MA in question had already placed herself behind the chair of the front desk. Between the two of them denied me care: they said I could get tested as a pharmacy, another urgent care or the emergency room - just not there. They refused to give my daughter MA's name. Reluctantly handed me over the After Visit Summary (AVS). By the time we were outside the provider realized we were being kicked out and made the MA called me back in. Provider must have ordered MA to tested me for flu and Covid. Both came back negative. When we got home, I looked at the AVS: MA had entered my weight, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate. She only took my temperature. She entered vitals that were not taken. Armed with this information I questioned the Neg results. I took a home Covid test: it was POSITIVE. I wonder how involved MA was in the test process. I know she swabbed me...Who run the test? who entered the results? So yes, this MA falsified my vitals, probably my test results too, and assaulted my daughter. The front desk person is rude as well.

I went there sick and broken, Dr. Linda A. was kind, caring and on point. I am so thankful she saw me because I am now back on my feet. Thank you Dr. Linda, I was crying and had a piece of tissue on my eye, and you took time to listen and help. God bless You!

Yes. All Bon Secours AFC sites will be open 8 am until 8pm.

I was a patient at this facility on 1/27. I was mis-diagonsed. My prescriptions cost $70. I went to my Primary Provider on 1/29 and was correctly diagnosed with the flu. Question: How do I get my money back for the prescriptions? and the copay
