Confusing disaster why not just have everything lined up on the sides with big signs and no employees to have to pay

UPDATE (7/26/2022): This dump continues to stay improved. I visit this dump weekly since 2016 and it has been great ever since the Matt guy disappeared. Keep up the good work! UPDATE (6/11/19): This dump has gotten much better. The Matt guy that caused all the issues has been gone for a while now and the staff is better for it. They are helpful and don’t meddle with you unless you’re doing something wrong. I’ve been very happy with this dump in 2019. Terrible dump with terrible employees This place is confusing and if you do anything remotely wrong, prepared to get yelled at. If you have any questions about how things work, prepare to get yelled at. The employees here have one setting: yell at you. The worst employee of all is Matt, the older guy with a mustache. He is literally the worst service employee I have ever dealt with. I have left this place with my blood boiling from being disrespected and yelled at least 3 times in the last 6 months. I tried to ask Matt a question once and he interrupted me and yelled at me every single time I tried to talk. It was crazy. I was just trying to ask him a question but he was on a mission to lay down the law and he had no problems being rude and disrespectful. The employees have zero concern for citizens trying to use the county's service and they all need serious customer service training.

Easy to figure out. And drop off stuff in the appropriate places

Yes
They have a stand alone receptacle for all electronics not allowed in the dump. It's on the left as you drive in.
Yes you can. This location excepts all recycling with the exception of glass. There is an area for Appliances and other large metal waste as well as an area for electronic waste.
Yes, there is a receptacle for oil disposal. It is located under a shelter to the left when you are entering.
yes
Hi! Greenville County accepts paint cans for disposal if the paint has been dried. Paint can be dried using oil dry, cat litter or sand. Please call 864-243-9672 with any questions. Thank you!
Yes
Yes
They take almost anything. Just have to put it in the right place.
Yes
Yes you can.
Yes unless it is a flat screen then it'll go up top to the regular stop but if its a newer flat screen it goes in the white trailer
I think so, but they probably expect you to drop it in the Yard Waste rather than the compactor. I never really understood that, but pretty much anything that's not bagged is supposed to go in the yard waste. At least that's how it was before covid. Lately I see a lot more random stuff going in the compactor.
Yes
No. It can be used by anyone in the County.
Hi, Simpsonville Residential Waste and Recycling Center is for residents use (not businesses to use) and will accept up to 3 cubic yards of waste per person, per day. The items you mentioned are accepted however, all shingles must be disposed of at the Twin Chimneys Landfill. Please call 864-243-9672 with any questions. Thank you!
Yep
Electrical and electronics (TV’s) go in a white trailer on the premises...
Hi! You may bring your electronic waste to the Simpsonville Residential Waste & Recycling Center. They are open Tuesday-Saturday 7a-6p. Closed Christmas Day. Please call 864-243-9672 with any questions.

Depends on how much you have. They have a 3 cubic ft limit i think
I believe I read that they're not allowed to help at all. I assume it's because the city doesn't want to pay for medical services if they get injured.
Yes they have a trailer for TV screens and other large electronics.
Yes. Just be sure to ask where it goes.
I think I read tree limbs need to be no longer than 6 ft long and 6 inches thick so I assume tree stumps are not allowed. ...but when I take tree limbs they've never measured them.
Yes. Anything really. Branches and lumber need to be shorter than six feet.

There are long dumpsters to the left of the drive up building that people put their matresses in. (The yard and large trash dumpsters where people also dump furniture.)
Yes, they have a recycling trailer specifically for home appliances.
I'm pretty confident you can. They have a trailer to recycle old appliances and they also have a huge bin or 2 for metal items and such. I just looked over the posted guidelines and it doesn't state that you can not dispose of them.
Yes
