Reserved a room and asked about the pool. Nothing was said about it being closed due to repairs (didn't notice until after check in). Room ac unit was turned down to 61° and would not cool room. No fans available and no other rooms available. Was told at checkout that since I was a rewards member that points = to a free night stay would be put into my account (never happened). All in all it cost over $100 for a room I couldn't sleep in due to the heat.

This was the worst hotel and staff I have ever experienced. My wife, son and myself came into town for my grandfathers funeral. We booked online and asked for an early check in due to our flight getting in at 9 am. Upon leaving Houston to fly there I called the hotel at 6:00 am and again asked if we could check in early. The man that answered ( Devin) said that wouldn’t be a problem since they had rooms left over from the night before that were already clean. When we arrived a young lady asked if she could help us and I said we were checking in. She very abruptly said we couldn’t check in until 3. I explained that we had called and messaged and we’re told we could check in as soon as we arrived. Then another young lady came out of the office to tell us checkin wasn’t until 3. I guess they could tell I was getting mad and looked for a room but seemed very put off by our arrival. They have us a room and when we got to the door the key didn’t work. Went back down and got new keys. Finally got Into the room and it was hot and humid, the refrigerator and tv were unplugged(I finally figured out) and the microwave turn table was laying on the bed. After all the aggravation I just wanted to settle in and get ready for my grandfathers wake. Later in the day I went down to the front desk to tell a different person that our ac didn’t work properly. She said she would come look at it with a manager as soon as she could. I told her we were ok with them just going in as we would not be there all evening. Upon returning late air conditioner still wasn’t working properly and we had no note, phone call or anything to tell us if they even looked at it. This trip was an extremely emotional time for us to start with and this place made it way worse. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free!

Cute colors, clean rooms, Mary was so nice at the breakfast buffet. Very pet friendly. Pool was welcome after a hot drive. Just great-thnx!

Deceptive room pricing. We booked at one price charged another price. Had family come in because our daughter was in critical condition at the hospital and the room was $140 for us (supposed to be $85), $85 for the first family member that checked in that same night and then $130 for additional rooms the next night! In the middle of the week. Desk “girl” just stated repeatedly that she wasn’t authorized do anything. We had to talk to the manger in the morning…instead of being in the ICU with my daughter. Canceled the last two nights, which I’m sure we will be charged for. We stayed at the #ComfortInn. I would recommend Comfort Inn.
