This wasn't what I thought, but it was ok

It's a nice little nature area. I didn't find any information online about this park so didn't know what to expect. If you're going to come here I definitely recommend long clothing, boots and insect repellant. It's very wooded with lots of grassy areas and grass even covering the trail in many parts. This isn't ideal since walking through grasses is how you get ticks, and it's unavoidable here. I think I had one on my leg that I brushed off. I also walked through many spider webs blocking the trail and the bugs were pretty bad in general. Since I wasn't wearing the right clothing and there was no map or any signage to speak of, I didn't go to the end of any trails, but just walked a good ways down many of the trails to get a feel for the place. A lot of these trails ended up leading directly to a railroad. In one part of the woods, someone not too far away was blasting rap music from what sounded like a car stereo. I think it might have been from the park adjacent to this one which has roads. Despite these downsides, it is a nice secluded area that might be worth a visit as long as you come prepared.

There are several trails inside the park. If you go down the main trail, and either take your first left, second left, or follow the trail up the hill. On the top of the hill the trail veers left and back down hill. All trails lead to a little loop parallel Joachim creek. I'd say it's 2 miles but that's just a guess.
