It's fast food so I had appropriate expectations. Between the customer service and the food that was cold from sitting for who knows how long I can't decide which was colder.

I don't know that I'm okay with public shaming. Most often Hardee's serves good food and offers friendly service and would gladly have replaced the oversight of the out of date and comped the meal as an apology. Why didn't you bring it to their attention and give them a chance to correct the mistake?
