Beware! Stayed in room 211. Air conditioning broke in the room. Never fixed. Double booked hotel so no additional rooms available. No ice machines working. Shower had mold on ceiling. Water in the shower went from ice cold to scorching hot. After being out in 104 degree heat we were not happy. Also another hotel guest we meet outside had his vehicle broken into. All this for over $200 a night! Save yourself the headache stay somewhere else!!!

Positive: This hotel is nice and quiet all the other people that stayed were quiet. I don't eat breakfast too much but I had some mini blueberry muffins they were great. Negative: The only thing did I would really say is the price. But I understand what is going on in our country today, and as soon as we change it back around prices will go back down.

This stay was so bad we left. When we first got there, our room door opened without the key. We tried to see if it was just ajar. But that was not the case. We went down to reception to change rooms. Someone went to check the door. Came back down and said you just have to slam it to get the lock to catch. Nope. We changed rooms. At 930, I was asleep. My fiancee was almost asleep. And his daughter was wide awake. Some one literally walked into our room. Luckily it wasn't some crazy person. And they recognized someone was in the room. They left quickly. I woke up at the sound of the door. His daughter was obviously and rightly freaked out. I told everyone to pack. We were not staying. None of us felt safe. We went to reception and told the attendant what happened. We also told her we did not feel safe and were leaving. The only part that sucks is we booked through a third party and have to deal with them to remove the room charge. Should not be a problem though. As we were on the road home, his daughter told us that a man and the receptionist walked into the room. No clue how she didn't know we were not in there, but obviously she messed up somewhere. The worst part is how the entire experience made his daughter feel. She asked so many "what if" questions that were valid, but so frightening.

I find myself visiting this particular inn often. I have family in St Louis. The rooms are always good, not excellent, but good. The service is pretty darn good, still not quite perfect on the communication between their internet hospitality/website and local staff. The location is quite convenient, a gas station, a tasty enough restaurant, and an easy access four-way light adjacent to the location. Close to St Louis without actually being in the city proper. Lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby.
