I'm so Disappointed in this place. Daniels was my PC on 8/14 wasn't feeling good and had a low-grade fever. Called office made appointment with Abby. Daniels had none available. Got there nurse came out done a swab on one side. Walton came out shortly. Said NEG.. And it was viral I asked how do you know. He said just let me look at your ears and throat so he took out his cell phone and looked in my ears and throat with his flash light on his phone and said yep viral. I told him that what he said the last time I seen him and ended up at the walk in with sinus infection I also told him I was IMMUNOCOMPROMISED...UC/DIABETES I asked him if he could give me a Zpack if not better in a couple of days. So I could avoid going to walk in. He said NO then I told him to have a good day. He put his hands on my door so I couldn't roll up window after several good bye. I started to roll it up. (VERY CREEPY)Called talked to office manager he didn't care. He just said if I reported him I could no longer be seen there. So on 8/15 my fever was higher husband took me to walk in tested POSITIVE.. covid I was wheezing and fever was giving prednisone and Zpack and was told to fellow up with PC to schedule antibiotic infusion but in stead she called in paxlovid. Which she knew I couldn't swallow pills. Pharmacy told my husband I had to stop taking flonase 24 till 48 before starting and they had to be taken whole. Called back to let her know. She had an attitude. Infusion place called me said she sent over but was missing something. They called her back so did Iso today I had a Tele visit with her she said she knew I wasn't that sick are I wouldn't have been calling her Iwill certainly be praying for this place that this doesn't happen to any one else. Pray that the Lord give them all a little empathy for their patients

The staff up front are lovely, and very forthcoming. However, the billing department will absolutely refuse to work with you about payments, and will only explain charges after being bothered for days. I was charged almost $300 for a visit with the doctor, and received no explanation until the lady at the front desk reached out to the billing department for me. I was then told, that the charge was for "prolonged services" which was the 1.5 hour wait I had inside the exam room while I waited for the doctor. Again, front desk staff is always lovely and helpful, but I don't recommend this place.

Two years in a row, this practice has coded my visits incorrectly and I ended up being charged more than I should have. The first year, they fixed the problem, but only after a great deal of time, effort and phone calls (some of which went unanswered) on my part. It remains to be seen if they will fix the problem this year, but I am already having to put in too much of the effort to correct the mistakes.

This was my first visit and first impressions are so very important to me. I have had several pcp’s since moving to Augusta 9 years ago and THIS — is the very first time I’ve walked into a doctors office and felt immediate peace. The staff is amazing and I can’t stress enough how awesome Dr. Walton is❤️ The first thing I noticed was a prayer box and going from room to room there was even more comforting messages. It’s clear to me… Dr. Walton is not only a physician - he actively and intently listened to my concerns- then addressed each one specifically— but he is obviously a true Man of God. I have found my medical home
