Decent trail along creek in Great Falls, SC. Needs better signage to show trail. Very muddy after heavy rains and possible flooding from creek so plan your trip accordingly.

Some shade and lots of natural beauty. Look out for ticks, had one crawling on my arm when I got in the car.

Is this a safe place to take dogs swimming?

Nadia | Oct 8, 2019
Jennifer Morrissette | Oct 8, 2019

Most of the time the water doesn't even come to my 3 year old's knees. There is only one spot that is deep, and it's only a few feet across. So dogs would be able to walk through it just not actually swim.

Are pets allowed?

Yes pets are allowed. They are currently doing construction on the dam so the water is pretty low. But still a nice area

I live in Great Falls and have no ideas where this is. My husband and I used the GPS and that did work either. Can someone give me an idea on how to find this trail? The pictures are beautiful and we would like to visit and see the waterfalls

It's on 200 you park at the public parking lot just before crossing the bridge, you will see a sign. After parking you will walk down a path to the creek. You will see a path to your right just before reaching the creek. It is 250 ft. Or yards it about a 20 minute walk.

Can I push a stroller or should I just bring the carrier?
