My mother had to take her dog to the emergency vet in the middle of the night. She was not able to pick her dog up and Mauldin police made time to come out and assist with her getting her into the car and vet. Mom said the officer was really nice, kind and respectful. Thank you very much for your help.

A officer came to the ER to investigate my daughter being abused by her cousin on her father's side in 2017. The detective on the case was not very friendly or kept me informed on the case. No charges were filed, eventhough there were visible bruises and open areas on my daughter's leg. Feb 2019, I received a call from an officer stating that he was at my daughter's school and she stated her father whipped her and left bruises. Pictures were taken. The officer asked me was abuse out of the norm for her dad and I stated no. They refused to take custody of my daughter, eventhough there is a history of abuse in this home. Mauldin police department is a complete joke AND a waste of time. I hope a child doesn't get killed for their lack of discernment. This dept is good for nothing and I'm saying this nicely.
