It's a really nice place I liked it,it gave my mind a break I felt at peace in this place and the flowers are pretty and I thought it would be just a couple of flowers and stuff but no it's more I do recommend this place

Beautiful quiet area and a very nice gift shop.

Beautiful and serene. Well kept dirt walking trails are easy to navigate. Admission made it even better! (Free parking and admission!). Absolutely recommend this gem!

Small park, but large variety of plant species and cool rock formations.

It is free- the Arboretum has the parking fee- different place
Thanks for your question! It was, indeed, folded. The striking rock outcropping found along the trail next to the creek is metamorphic schist, about 300 million years old. Wikipedia has an informative article about schist at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schist. The article includes a picture of a Manhattan schist outcropping in New York City's Central Park, similar to the one in the Botanical Gardens.
No, dogs are not allowed. The Reed Creek Greenway and Glenn Creek Greenway next to the Gardens are great for dogs.
Daili, You can make it a 20 minute visit or stay there for hours. The trails are easy to walk. The artwork is lovely. There are places to sit by the water or amongst the trees. It's lovely.
Parking would be your biggest issue. This is a small park, with no covered shelters. It's a great park for small group walks, hikes and picnics.
No, it's a place to walk through. One parks at the perimeter, and walks around a mix of manicured and semi-wild parts. There's a stream running through that kids can play in.
You're welcome to bring a picnic. There are a limited number of tables and benches, and you're welcome to bring blankets and/or your own chairs. There is no food service (restaurant or cafe).
The visitor's center & gift shop are open Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sun. 12:00-4:00 p.m. The parking lot is closed (locked) at sunset.
No, sorry, but dogs are not allowed in the Gardens. You can walk your dog along the Greenway adjacent to the Gardens.
I went for a walk there with my boys about a week ago and it was that day it snowed a little. So, it's still a nice walk. Will try to post a pic of our walk
As of two weeks ago, both were open.
No restaurants nearby the gardens, you'll have to go down the road....to get to restaurants...
Sorry, no pets allowed due to the fragility of the plant collection. There is a lovely greenway adjacent to the Gardens that runs parallel to Broadway and W. T. Weaver Blvd., where many people walk their dogs.
No, pets are not allowed in the Gardens. The Reed Creek/Glenn's Creek Greenway runs adjacent to the BGA, and is a great place to walk with your dog.
No, we were just there a couple weeks ago. Its all dead now and the center was closed for the year. We spoke to a staff member and they said spring and summer are tge best times, everything will be in full bloom.
They have a restroom but it's in the gift shop. I don't think you can get to it if the gift shop is closed.
Parking is always free here. If it can fit inside the bounds of a traditional parking space I would say it doesn't matter what type of vehicle you have. But if it is a big van that extends beyond a standard space you might want to call ahead and make sure that there is room to accommodate you on the desired day of your visit.

April through june is nice for the gardens. Get on Biltmore's web site and schedule vlsit during the flower festival.
