Came in with broken and dislocated lower leg. They brought me right in and were very hospitable! Great staff here and they know what they are doing. Took about 5 hours total to get in, x-ray, set the bones ( excruciating), x-ray again, fit me for crutches and get pain meds for discharge. They made a terrible situation as good as it could be.

Me and my friend brought my partner here because they were sick to the point of hallucination. When the nurse was asking them questions about their height and weight they became verbally unresponsive, and they tried nodding and holding up numbers instead. I pointed out their attempt to communicate non-verbally to the nurse, but was ignored so instead I answered her questions for them after I noticed the nurse becoming increasingly agitated with them. She then got in their face and berrated them for not being able to speak saying, "You need to speak. Your friends won't be there with you when the doctor is asking questions. I know you're sick but you have to talk," etc. She was incredibly unprofessional and patronizing to each of us.

Slow very poor care for the 3rd time...

Was instructed to visit this ER after my blood pressure was diagnosed at a test to be stroke level. The Young Girl at registration did not take me seriously; sat me down in waiting room with Covid patients without anyone even checking my blood pressure! Then when I questioned this She yelled at me it was only her job to check me in. This is what you consider Healthcare? It was the worst thing I have ever seen in my entire life.

It's filthy
Terrible hospital. Only have a 1.5 star rating outta 5. Other hospitals in upstate call them no care regional.
That happen just now and we've been up here for 3 hours and no one has moved. I've been sever chest pains and they believe (from the triage nurse)"sounds like you have a fracture shoulder blade or rib!" Yet. Im still waiting. Going on 4 hours. No one has been moved to the back.
They probably can use all the help they can get. Just go to HR and ask
Self operates by critical need. Once they get you through triage, they'll have you wait a bit depending on bed availability and again critical need. Once you're in a room, A nurse will come see you. They'll take samples for labwork then the doctor will come in. Depending on the test ordered by the doctor and how the ER is staffed, that determines how long those test could take. For example, if all nurses are making their rounds and the ER is moderately staffed, A CT scan usually takes 10 minutes to perform and 45 minutes to be read. From there a diagnosis and further action/information is given by the doctor. This is when the decision to admit or be discharged is made. Of course, if you feel that you require more care, you can request admittance. A Doctor from the Montgomery Center will come see you to ask questions and perform a minor examination before moving you up to Patient Towers.
Yes
Not sure. Call the business office and they should be able to tell you.
