Location is perfect. Two stars for the location. One of the worst showers that I've ever seen. Water goes everywhere around the bathroom floor. There was some weird small charges to my credit card after my stay. I emailed them and sent several messages through Booking to get my receipt but have never received any respond. Don't recommend it.

Unique interior design with full of Hawkeye. I enjoy old-school like atmospheres. Room was clean and well organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is the best part of this hotel that I can easily access restaurants and school buildings. The shower needs to be improved that after taking a shower, water goes everywhere around the bathroom floor.

Positive: The room was very eclectic and charming. Just my style. Negative: Room was not ready when checking in at 5pm, there was no water for purchase in the morning, & we were also woken by a marching band playing in the lobby at 9:30am on a Sunday. I was told there was a drinking fountain, but there were no cups in the room.

My experience was amazing. Checked in feb 28th and the evening receptionist that was there was simply amazing. She is in school and gives her heart while at work. She went above and beyond for me, and after traveling for 14 hours I was so grateful. She deserves a big raise. Overall my stay was pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable.
