It’s hard to write this, but this location is a consistently bad experience. It’s hard to find help in the service industry, but there’s some opportunity here. Starts with a solid management team. It’s even hard for them to take payment sometimes. Something, easily fixable, is wrong here. Beautiful location- whatever the sales are, I bet you can easily do 1.5x if you would just focus on getting customers out the door, out the parking lot.

This Sonic has to be the slowest restaurant in Danville. I wish so badly they would hire more employees. Most of the time I get friendly employees but am rarely in the drive thru less than 15 minutes and have been left forgotten about in a stall for up to 40 minutes despite pushing the button 3 times and reminding them that I was still there. I spend over $20 a week on ice from Sonic and am there 5-7 days a week. I have a special needs daughter who won't drink enough water. But she loves the ice. I'm not sure of her name but there is a manager there who is super nice and has taken several complaints from me about employees not filling the bag up all the way and long wait times. And things have improved with that overall. However, tonight, an employee argued with me that the bag was full. If you can grip plastic at the top, it's not full, it's missing at least 32 oz of ice, if not more. I was so angry. She said she would take it back and fill it but who wants to wait even longer for someone who got smart with you to potentially do something to your order out of spite. If this Sonic wasn't the only restaurant in town with bagged crushed ice (except Captain D's, whose ice tastes like fish), I would not return there at all. Definitely tired of all of the issues.

By all accounts sonic has a modest selection of classic drive in foods. Though you may forgive the lower quality and oftentimes incorrect orders received, the price point these days feels a bit steep for what you're getting. Maybe if Sonic took better care of it's workers, it wouldn't take half an hour to get through the line on a weeknight. 3 stars only because y'all have ocean water 💦🧉

Ordered onion rings, but the waitress came out and said they didn’t have any, so tots were ok. But ordered a double cheeseburger and when I was almost finished noticed it was only a single. 😼BUT, what I got was delicious, just not what I ordered.

They are lacking leadership at sonic for sure. They need to get it together or close up shop
