Very nice owner, clean shop, very small, packed to the brim..literally. A little expensive for middle of the road clothing (i do understand this is consignment and therefore that factors into the price)...However, beware the purses; I looked at a "leather" "Brahmin" purse, it was NOT authentic, it was vinyl and felt cheap that way, but priced at a premium, in excess of $250..for vinyl. Takeaway from this visit: To be successful, and to command such prices, high end items should be authenticated before putting out to sell to the public.

I was disappointed in this shop, it presents more like a thrift store than a consignment shop. I enjoy thrift and consignment shopping alike, and typically expect to pay a little more for consignment. The reason being, consignment is usually well organized, with a selection of higher end and current brands. The racks in this shop were so overfilled, that it was difficult to browse thru the hanging clothes . The pants selection was an endless rainbow of beige capris, speckled with an occasional colored pair. They were all similar and very basic, with brands like “ Liz Claiborne”. Identical to the the ones I can find in droves for $3.00 -$5.00 at any thrift store on any given day. The majorly of the clothes are average brands .For example , I saw a lot of “ old navy” , and “Crown & Ivey.” There’s nothing wrong with these brands , but I expect to pay a nominal price for them , especially when they are used and aren’t valued at very much to begin with . Crown & Ivey is notoriously marked way down on the clearance rack at Belks. There were a pair of “ Lilly Pulitzer” pants, but they were marked at somewhere around $50.00. Possibly, a fair deal if you were into “Lilly” and pants were current. Even higher end used brands don’t warrant that sort of price when they are several years old . I have shopped in many thrift/ consignment shops across the United States . In my experience, Consignment shops usually spend a lot of time scrupulously choosing current and relevant clothing in “like new” condition from the consigner. Therefore, shoppers don’t expect to spend a lot of time sorting thru over priced thrift store apparel. This being instrumental in defining the consignment shop, and differentiating the consignment and thrift store shopping experiences. Unfortunately, I found this shop to have a thrift store feel with consignment prices .

Questions & Answers

What they sell? Do they buy stuff also?

They sell women and kids items. Clothes, shoes, purses & jewelry. They will also sell your items for you. Simply take your items there and they will sort through them. All items are not accepted. They price the items and you receive a portion of the sale price when it sells. (No money is given at the time of drop off)

Do you buy clothes

They consign rather than buy up front, so you do not get money unless someone buys the clothes you consign with them. You can also get your clothes back if they don't sell, or you can let them donate them at the end of the contract. They only take pre-season/in-season things that they think will sell. They want clothes and accessories for women, plus/petite, juniors, boys, girls, and babies
