Son had appointment and card and they didn't have in computer. Person running desk rude and very unacommodating and acting like I don't matter. This is very unacceptable

Had a $411 bill after 2 years. I paid $20 each visit. I was on a hardship program due to income.. Then transferred to a local mental health at the end of 2020. I now have a $1500 bill. They added 3 "subsequent pma" charges to the bill each around $300 a piece at the end. I have tried contacting the billing department multiple times and constantly am getting the run around.

Was referred for crisis intervention. However it took nearly three months from time of first call (other two times for phone appointment, the councilor and office canceled 1 hour out, then the next appointment I received no call or call back to be told an additional month later when they finally called to make another appointment-that I missed the last appointment! Though I had cleared my schedule and was sitting by the phone!) Crisis intervention is suppose to be on going and weekly but the staff showed no care or consideration for my needs and would spend 14 to 30 days or more between contacts. During them time waiting nearly three months with no service-in that time was able to find from another center a councilor that was able to make weekly appointments and keep them!! Staff was lax, full of excuses, condescending, and frankly rude at times. Absolutely no help at all.

I went to beckman for about 3 months. At first everyone was helpful and nice and then after 3 months of going to see Crystal, who talked about her life problems every time I went, I got a 2000 dollar bill even though I was on sliding scale fee and they never even got me in with a psychiatrist. I only went 6 times. They were not helpful at all and ended up giving me more stress and anxiety than when I started.

Questions & Answers

Is the Beckman Center intended to treat emergency behavioral health or can someone who needs outpatient behavioral therapy and anti-depressant medication be considered as a patient?

They are intended for outpatient therapy and medication.

I would call Beckman and talk to someone: they can ask you questions that will help to know whether she is suicidal or not.

Ask his therapist about the bus. It takes a few weeks to get scheduled in. But there is a device for his mental health appointment
