Cute little park by the river, lots of good places to walk your dog near the river

Actually you can walk dog's on the trail that is by the river. The dirt path to the left is the no dog trail
Yes, Crystal Peak is up above on the mountain & there are millions of crystals. You are only allowed to remove 2 bucket a day. But you really need a 4x4 to drive right up to it. You can get to within 1/4 mile in any car tho & just park & walk up the rest of the way. Bring plenty of water & tools for digging
No, but be prepared that when you arrive the park may be full. In other words have a back up plan.
I wish i knew sorry i couldn't help you.
No idea. It was a large lumber mill at times, and there was a resort there for a period of time, before it burned down
None that I have seen. The wild animals plack said that black bears are indigenous.
No. Crystal Peak and the quartz mine is deep inside Dog Valley.
YeaThat is the Crystal Peak Mine. There are rules posted at the mine.
Not sure but the homeless seem to have no problem. Option 2 is best. It's a crazy world! Have a fun & safe journey.β
Its not where I would go... river rock a lot, you would have to know what your looking for
You might have to ask the county parks administration for that answer
I would bring a little propane Coleman camp stove or something easy to use and transport.
The ponds are stocked regularly. Its a nice place to go to for a change. Really can't compare the large Marina with the two smaller ponds at Crystal Peak Park... it's all about what you want to experience. Enjoy it.
Nope... Not that I've seen. Lovely crystal clear spring stream tho.
No cost
Yes, the Nevada Department of Wildlife stocks these ponds with trout multiple times throughout the summer.
