Holston Creek Park is a great park. Great for walking or running. A mountain bike course, disc golf, ball fields and a playground all can be found at this park. Weekdays are best as weekends are full of people enjoying this gorgeous park.

There will likely be mountain bikers riding through the trails so if your dog is a "chaser" you should keep him leashed.
Hey Tom, yes you can walk all the trails. It is basically a giant Disc Golf park, and you just follow all the cut grass paths around the park. And you can detour a little off the path to go by the pond they have.

Yes, only restriction is that no walking is allowed on trail but people don't even follow that rule sometimes.
You can fish there and I seen people fishing at the ponds. You have to have South Carolina fishing license to fish there.
